If they wanted to money grab original fans of the series, they would make it a subscription game like Warcraft. Secondly, I don't think they're specifically targetting original fans of the series, if they were, I expect they would have continued the original series. No. This looks more like the developers took a great idea, from a great series, and wanted to try something spectacular with it. Story? Fuck your story. If I get to fly around, picking up humans and throwing them to their deaths I don't need a story. It's not The Legacy of Kain you were expecting, but they told you that. They told you. From the get-go. You cannot act surprised. Me, I'm looking forward to seeing it. I probably won't play it unless it comes out on a console, but if it does, I'm on it like herpes on a crackwhore.

arse is. The reason you don't get the game you want, and probably never
will is because it's not worth the developer's time. And honestly, Defiance
was shit. Oh, hey, I enjoyed it for the first half-hour, ripping things
apart as Kain, but it got tedious fast. The gameplay for most of the
franchise has been rubbish, with only the average story, amazing dialogue and memorable characters being the glue that held it together. The last title I really enjoyed was Soul Reaver. But if this game takes off and everyone loves it, maybe more people will pick up the old titles and invest themselves in Legacy of Kain,
maybe it'll be viable to continue the line. I really doubt it, and I
don't think there will ever be another sequel. I think the idea of Legacy of Kain, the nostalgia of it, outweighs its reality.

I'm not saying much more, since I tried to on Youtube and boy was that a mistake.
Although I'm not surprised to see parts of the LoK fandom have hardly
changed in the past ten years I must say it is disappointing. Oh well!

wasn't asking "how could they mix those to up" so much as I was asking
"how did they". Nothing about the Nosgoth razielim sounds remotely close
to the zephonim. Like you and I said, zephonim
would have made a better stealth class, but that's the dumahim in
nosgoth. Razielim are what they should be... well, no, what they should
be is dead, but they're in no way mixed up with the zephonim, is my
